In this account, the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Take off your cloak," so he removed it over his head, and he continued with the hadith.

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it, 5/57, from the hadith of Abu Dawud with the same chain, and its chain of transmission is daif. Ataa's narration from Yaala is disconnected, and Hajjaj bin Artah is daif. The preceding hadith serves in its place.
