The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr in Madinah as four units and prayed Asr at Dhul Hulayfah as two units. He then spent the night at Dhul Hulayfah until morning. When he mounted his riding camel and it stood up straight with him, he began the talbiyah.

صلى رسول الله ﷺ الظهر بالمدينة أربعا وصلى العصر بذي الحليفة ركعتين ثم بات بذي الحليفة حتى أصبح فلما ركب راحلته واستوت به أهل
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Hajj, chapter on one who spent the night at Zulhulayfa until morning, no. 1546, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj with this wording. Muslim also narrated it, no. 690, through another route from Anas with this wording.
