He recited this verse, "There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord" [Baqarah 2:198]. He said, "They used to refrain from trading at Mina, so they were permitted to engage in trade once they departed from Arafat."

[Its chain is daif] Tabari narrated it in his Tafsir: 2/165 from the hadith of Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, and it is daif, but the hadith of Bukhari, no. 1770, suffices in its place.
