When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taking the pledge from the women, a dignified woman, who appeared to be from the women of Mudar, stood up and said, "Prophet of Allah, we are a burden upon our fathers and our sons."

[Its chain is daif] Abd bin Humayd narrated it, no. 147, from the hadith of Abdul-Salam bin Harb with the same wording, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, 4/134, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations, though the narration of Ziyad bin Jubayr from Saad is a mursal report, as Abu Zura and others have stated.
