While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, a man came riding his she-camel, turning her right and left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has a spare mount should give it to one who has no mount, and whoever has extra provisions should give them to one who has no provisions," until we thought that none of us had any right to anything beyond his basic need.
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الخزاعي وموسى بن إسمعيل قالا حدثنا أبو الأشهب عن أبي نضرة
بينما نحن مع رسول الله ﷺ في سفر إذ جاء رجل على ناقة له فجعل يصرفها يمينا وشمالا فقال رسول الله ﷺ من كان عنده فضل ظهر فليعد به على من لا ظهر له ومن كان عنده فضل زاد فليعد به على من لا زاد له حتى ظننا أنه لا حق لأحد منا في الفضل
