The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is struck by need and brings it before people, his need will not be relieved. But whoever brings it before Allah, Allah will soon grant him sufficiency, either through a swift death or a swift prosperity."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا عبد الله بن داود ح و حدثنا عبد الملك بن حبيب أبو مروان حدثنا ابن المبارك وهذا حديثه عن بشير بن سلمان عن سيار أبي حمزة عن طارق
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أصابته فاقة فأنزلها بالناس لم تسد فاقته ومن أنزلها بالله أوشك الله له بالغنى إما بموت عاجل أو غنى عاجل
[Its chain is hasan] Reported by Tirmidhi, in the chapter on Zuhd, section on what has been said regarding worry over the world and love for it, hadith no. 2326, from the hadith of Bashir bin Salman, through him, and he said, "Hasan sahih gharib." Hakim also graded it sahih (1/408), and Dhahabi concurred with him.
