Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Who will guarantee me that he will not ask people for anything, and I will guarantee him paradise?"Thawban said, "I will."After that, he never asked anyone for anything.

وكان ثوبان مولى رسول الله ﷺ قال قال رسول الله ﷺ من يكفل لي أن لا يسأل الناس شيئا وأتكفل له بالجنة فقال ثوبان أنا فكان لا يسأل أحدا شيئا
