The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that Jurur and Lawn Hubayq be taken as zakat. Zuhri said, "These are two types of dates from Madinah."
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى بن فارس حدثنا سعيد بن سليمان حدثنا عباد عن سفيان بن حسين عن الزهري
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الجعرور ولون الحبيق أن يؤخذا في الصدقة قال الزهري لونين من تمر المدينة
[Its isnad is daif] Ibn Khuzayma also narrated it, no. 2313, from Muhammad bin Yahya Dhuhli, with the same wording. The hadith of Abu Walid was narrated by Daraqutni, 2/131, and see Sunan Nasai, no. 2494. Zuhri used an ambiguous form of transmission (an'ana), but the hadith of Nasai, no. 2494, serves as a substitute for it.
