The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no charity due on fewer than five camels, no charity due on less than five uqiyyahs of silver, and no charity due on less than five wasqs of produce."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة قال قرأت على مالك بن أنس عن عمرو بن يحيى المازني عن أبيه قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليس فيما دون خمس ذود صدقة وليس فيما دون خمس أواق صدقة وليس فيما دون خمسة أوسق صدقة
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on the zakat of silver, hadith no. 1447, from the hadith of Malik. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on there being no charity due on less than five wasqs, hadith no. 979, from the hadith of Amr bin Yahya bin Umara, by the same chain. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya's version), 1/244.
