The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate with these words, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of wealth and poverty."

Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Supplications, chapter on seeking refuge from sin and debt, no. 6368, and Muslim in the Book of Remembrance and Supplication, chapter on supplications and seeking refuge, no. 589, after no. 2705 (and also nos. 587, 589), from the hadith of Hisham bin Urwa, with the same chain, in a longer form.
