The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Shall I teach you words to say in times of distress? Allah, Allah is my Lord, I associate nothing with Him."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا عبد الله بن داود عن عبد العزيز بن عمر عن هلال عن عمر بن عبد العزيز عن ابن جعفر
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ ألا أعلمك كلمات تقولينهن عند الكرب أو في الكرب ألله ألله ربي لا أشرك به شيئا
[Its isnad is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Supplication, Chapter on Supplication at Times of Distress, no. 3882, from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Umar with this wording. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Ibn Hibban, no. 2369, and elsewhere.
