Whenever the Prophet ﷺ made supplication and raised his hands, he would wipe his face with them afterward.
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن حفص بن هاشم بن عتبة بن أبي وقاص
أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا دعا فرفع يديه مسح وجهه بيديه
[Its isnad is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 4/221, from Qutayba, through him. Hafs bin Hashim is unknown (Taqrib). The hadith has another version with Firyabi (Nukat Ziraf: 9/106, 107).
