He was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made qunut in the dawn prayer.He said, "Yes."It was asked, "Before the bowing or after the bowing?"He replied, "After the bowing."Musaddad added, "By a short while."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب ومسدد قالا حدثنا حماد عن أيوب عن محمد
أنه سئل هل قنت رسول الله ﷺ في صلاة الصبح فقال نعم فقيل له قبل الركوع أو بعد الركوع قال بعد الركوع قال مسدد بيسير
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Witr, chapter on Qunut before and after ruku, hadith no. 1001, from Musaddad, and Muslim reported it in the Book of Masajid, chapter on the recommendation of Qunut in all prayers etc., hadith no. 298/677, from the hadith of Ayub Sakhtiyani, with this chain.
