I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Are there two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj?"He replied, "Yes, and whoever does not perform them should not recite them."
حدثنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني ابن لهيعة أن مشرح بن هاعان أبا المصعب حدثه أن
قلت لرسول الله ﷺ أفي سورة الحج سجدتان قال نعم ومن لم يسجدهما فلا يقرأهما
[Its chain is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on what has been mentioned regarding the sajdah in Hajj, no. 578, from the hadith of Ibn Lahia with this wording, and he said, "This hadith's chain is not strong."Ibn Lahia explicitly stated that he heard it directly, and Musharrah bin Han is hasan al-hadith.
