The Prophet ﷺ, when he wanted to relieve himself, would not lift his garment until he was close to the ground.
حدثنا زهير بن حرب حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن رجل
أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا أراد حاجة لا يرفع ثوبه حتى يدنو من الأرض
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it (1/96) from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this route, containing an unknown man. Tirmidhi narrated it, no. 14, via Amash from Anas, and Ismaili and Bayhaqi narrated it via Amash from Qasim bin Muhammad from Ibn Umar through this route. Daraqutni said, Neither of them is established, and Amash is a mudallis, and I did not find explicit confirmation of his direct hearing.
