He reported from his father, from his grandfather, who said, "I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while he was performing ablution, with water flowing from his face and beard onto his chest, and I saw him separating between rinsing the mouth and drawing water into the nose."

عن أبيه عن جده قال دخلت يعني على النبي ﷺ وهو يتوضأ والماء يسيل من وجهه ولحيته على صدره فرأيته يفصل بين المضمضة والاستنشاق
