The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "Seek it on the seventeenth night of Ramadan, the twenty-first night, and the twenty-third night," then he fell silent.
حدثنا حكيم بن سيف الرقي أخبرنا عبيد الله يعني ابن عمرو عن زيد يعني ابن أبي أنيسة عن أبي إسحق عن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود عن أبيه
قال لنا رسول الله ﷺ اطلبوها ليلة سبع عشرة من رمضان وليلة إحدى وعشرين وليلة ثلاث وعشرين ثم سكت
[Its chain is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it, 4/310, from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this route. Abu Ishaq narrated with "ana'ana" (an ambiguous form of transmission).
