I asked her about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying to her, "At what time would he pray?"She replied, "Whenever he heard the rooster's crow, he would get up and pray."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى حدثنا أبو الأحوص ح و حدثنا هناد عن أبي الأحوص وهذا حديث إبراهيم عن أشعث عن أبيه عن مسروق قال سألت
عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ فقلت لها أي حين كان يصلي قالت كان إذا سمع الصراخ قام فصلى
Muslim narrated it in "Prayer of Travelers," chapter on night prayer and the number of units the Prophet ﷺ prayed at night, etc., hadith no. 741, from Hannad, and Bukhari in "Tahajjud," chapter on one who sleeps before dawn, hadith no. 1132, from the hadith of Abu Ahwas, with this wording.
