The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Tabuk for twenty days, shortening the prayer.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان
أقام رسول الله ﷺ بتبوك عشرين يوما يقصر الصلاة
[Its chain of transmission is daif]. It is found in Musnad Ahmad: 3/295 and Musannaf Abdul-Razzaq, no. 4335, and the hadith has corroborating narrations. Yahya bin Abu Kathir is a mudallis, and I did not find an explicit statement of his hearing it in this hadith.
