The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Mecca for fifteen days during the year of the Conquest, shortening the prayer.
حدثنا النفيلي حدثنا محمد بن سلمة عن محمد بن إسحق عن الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله
أقام رسول الله ﷺ بمكة عام الفتح خمس عشرة يقصر الصلاة
[Sahih] Ibn Majah reported it in Iqamat as-Salawat, chapter, How much should the traveler shorten the prayer when he stays in a town, hadith 1076, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Salama, and its chain is daif, but it has a corroborating witness narration with Nasai, hadith 1454, whose chain is hasan.
