Water for ablution was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he performed wudu. He washed his hands three times, rinsed his mouth and nose three times, washed his face three times, then washed each forearm three times. After that, he wiped his head and wiped his ears, both their outer and inner surfaces.

أتي رسول الله ﷺ بوضوء فتوضأ فغسل كفيه ثلاثا ثم تمضمض واستنشق ثلاثا وغسل وجهه ثلاثا ثم غسل ذراعيه ثلاثا ثلاثا ثم مسح برأسه وأذنيه ظاهرهما وباطنهما
