The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands level with his face and said, "Allah, give us rain," and he continued with something similar.
حدثنا عيسى بن حماد أخبرنا الليث عن سعيد المقبري عن شريك بن عبد الله بن أبي نمر عن أنس أنه سمعه يقول فذكر نحو حديث
فرفع رسول الله ﷺ يديه بحذاء وجهه فقال اللهم اسقنا وساق نحوه
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Seeking Rain, chapter on Seeking Rain in the Congregational masjid, hadith no. 1013, and Muslim in the Book of the Prayer for Seeking Rain, chapter on the Supplication in Seeking Rain, hadith no. 897, from the hadith of Sharik bin Abu Nimr, through this same chain.
