The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "The takbeers in the Eid al-Fitr prayer are seven in the first rakah and five in the second, with the recitation following both of them."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا المعتمر قال سمعت عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الطائفي يحدث عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه
قال نبي الله ﷺ التكبير في الفطر سبع في الأولى وخمس في الآخرة والقراءة بعدهما كلتيهما
[Its chain is hasan] Ibn Majah narrated it in Iqamat al-Salawat, chapter on what has been said about how many times the imam says the takbir in the two Eid prayers, hadith 1278, from the hadith of Taifi with this wording.
