Umm Atiya reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, he gathered the women of the Ansar in a house and sent Umar bin Khattab to us. He stood at the door and greeted us, and we returned . Then he said, "I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to you."He instructed us regarding the two Eids that we should bring out the menstruating women and the freed slave women, that the Friday prayer was not obligatory upon us, and he forbade us from following funeral processions.

عن جدته أم عطية

أن رسول الله ﷺ لما قدم المدينة جمع نساء الأنصار في بيت فأرسل إلينا عمر بن الخطاب فقام على الباب فسلم علينا فرددنا عليه السلام ثم قال أنا رسول رسول الله ﷺ إليكن وأمرنا بالعيدين أن نخرج فيهما الحيض والعتق ولا جمعة علينا ونهانا عن اتباع الجنائز
