I saw Uthman bin Affan wash his forearms three times each and wipe his head three times. Then he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do this."
حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا إسرائيل عن عامر بن شقيق بن جمرة
رأيت عثمان بن عفان غسل ذراعيه ثلاثا ثلاثا ومسح رأسه ثلاثا ثم قال رأيت رسول الله ﷺ فعل هذا
[Its isnad is hasan]. Daraqutni narrated it in 1/91, hadith 298, from the hadith of Harun bin Abdullah, through him.
