On the day of Hunayn, it was a rainy day, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered his caller to announce that the prayer would be performed at the encampments.
حدثنا محمد بن كثير أخبرنا همام عن قتادة
أن يوم حنين كان يوم مطر فأمر النبي ﷺ مناديه أن الصلاة في الرحال
[Sahih] Nasai reported it in the Book of Imamah, Chapter on the Excuse for Missing the Congregation, no. 855, from the hadith of Shuba, from Qatada, with this chain, and Hakim graded it sahih, 1/293, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
