The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was sent down to earth, on it his repentance was accepted, on it he died, and on it the Hour will be established. There is no creature that does not listen attentively on Friday from the break of dawn until the sun rises, out of fear of the Hour, except for jinn and humans. In it there is an hour during which no Muslim servant stands in prayer asking Allah for something except that He grants it to him."Kaab said, "That occurs on one day each year."I said, "Rather, it is in every Friday."Kaab then read the Torah and said, "The Prophet ﷺ has spoken the truth."Abu Hurairah continued, "Then I met Abdullah bin Salam and told him about my conversation with Kaab."Abdullah bin Salam said, "I know exactly which hour it is."Abu Hurairah said, "I said to him, 'Then tell me about it.'"Abdullah bin Salam said, "It is the last hour of Friday."I said, "How can it be the last hour of Friday when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No Muslim servant comes upon it while he is praying,' and no prayer is performed at that hour?"Abdullah bin Salam replied, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not say, 'Whoever sits in a place waiting for the prayer is considered to be in prayer until he prays'?"I said, "Yes, indeed."He said, "That is what is meant."
