The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prayer for one who has no ablution, and there is no ablution for one who does not mention the name of Allah the Exalted over it."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا محمد بن موسى عن يعقوب بن سلمة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا صلاة لمن لا وضوء له ولا وضوء لمن لم يذكر اسم الله تعالى عليه
[Hasan] Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Purification, Chapter on what has been narrated regarding saying the name of Allah in wudu, hadith 399, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Musa, and its chain is daif. The hadith has corroborating narrations, including one reported by Ibn Majah, and its chain is hasan.
