The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed. He did not say "led us in prayer," nor did he say "so they gestured." He said, the people answered, "Yes." Then he raised his head, and he did not say "and said the takbir." Then he said the takbir and prostrated, his prostration like the previous one or longer, then he raised his head. His report ended there, and he did not mention what came after, nor did he mention "so they gestured," except for Hammad bin Zayd.
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك عن أيوب عن محمد بإسناده وحديث
صلى رسول الله ﷺ لم يقل بنا ولم يقل فأومئوا قال فقال الناس نعم قال ثم رفع ولم يقل وكبر ثم كبر وسجد مثل سجوده أو أطول ثم رفع وتم حديثه لم يذكر ما بعده ولم يذكر فأومئوا إلا حماد بن زيد
